MSHEU is more than a university

MSHEU is one of the few universities in Russia where inclusion is not an additional option, but a foundation. We were created for those who did not have the opportunity to receive higher education in the early 1990s.
Over three and a half decades, we have produced thousands of graduates, offered dozens of programs, and maintained our unwavering mission.

Igor Mikhalev
Over the past 35 years, we have come a long way from the bold idea of the first rector, Leon Sarkisyan, to becoming a national leader in inclusive education.
Today, as the only inclusive university in Russia, we create unique methods and practices, which we then scale up and share with the rest of the country. Our research in the field of inclusive education and our advanced social technologies, which have been tested within our walls, have become a valuable asset for the professional community. The main pride of our university has always been and remains its students, graduates, professors, and staff, who prove every day that quality education and a social mission are inseparable.

As a Paralympic athlete, I know very well that true overcoming begins where you are given a chance. RSU SotsTech is not only an educational institution, but also a true forge of winners that gives a chance to thousands of people. Here, future champions learn and win, and the inclusive environment becomes the starting point for great athletic and life achievements.
