АННОТАЦИЯ:
Цель работы представить результаты социологического опроса, позволяющие структурировать реализуемые способы социальной адаптации детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья и обозначить базовые направления, способствующие повышению ее эффективности в малых городах. Методы и методика исследования: на основе эмпирического социологического исследования, проведенного по заявленной проблематике методом анкетного опроса населения города Мценск (336 респондентов) Орловской области в декабре 2024 года. В ходе исследования были выявлены основные проблемы социальной адаптации детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья, потребности таких детей в новых элементах социальной инфраструктуры. Определен круг проблем, с которыми дети с ограниченными здоровья сталкиваются в повседневной жизни. Авторы делают вывод, что во многом эффективность социальной адаптации ребенка с ограниченными возможностями здоровья в обществе, его место и роль в системе и структуре общественных отношений зависит от того, каким образом будет организован сам процесс адаптации и какими способами, силами и средствами будет организовано его развитие в малых городах. В результате исследования, выявлено, что проблема социальной адаптации детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья в малых городах остается в настоящее время одной из приоритетных, требующих постоянного внимания, как со стороны государственных органов управления, так и широкой общественности. Результаты исследования могут быть базой для верифицирования проблем затрудняющих процесс социальной адаптации детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья и помогут сформулировать направления, способствующие их преодолению, сделав, процесс адаптации более эффективным.

The purpose of the work is to present the results of a sociological survey that allow structuring the implemented methods of social adaptation of children with disabilities and to outline the basic directions that contribute to increasing its effectiveness in small towns. Methods and methodology of the research: based on an empirical sociological study conducted on the stated issues using a questionnaire survey of the population of the city of Mtsensk (336 respondents) in the Oryol region in December 2024. The study identified the main problems of social adaptation of children with disabilities, the needs of such children for new elements of social infrastructure. The range of problems that children with disabilities face in everyday life is determined. The authors conclude that in many ways the effectiveness of social adaptation of a child with disabilities in society, his place and role in the system and structure of social relations depends on how the adaptation process itself is organized and by what methods, forces and means his development in small towns will be organized. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the problem of social adaptation of children with disabilities in small towns currently remains one of the priorities, requiring constant attention, both from government agencies and the general public. The results of the study can be the basis for verifying the problems that complicate the process of social adaptation of children with disabilities and will help formulate directions that help overcome them, making the adaptation process more effective.
