Vagif Deyrushevich Bayramov, Vice-President of the Russian-Azerbaijan Congress, Rector of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics, Professor, was awarded with Azerbaijani President Honorary Diploma for outstanding achievements in strengthening educational sphere cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Azerbaijan Republic. The ceremony was held in MGGEU.
Polad Bülbüloğlu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic, presented the honorary diploma to V.D. Bayramov and stated that the Azerbaijan diaspora members in Russia are proud of the fact that their compatriot is at the head of the prestigious university.
Oleg Smolin, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Education of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, underlined Vagif Bairamov’s special concern to disabled students and the significance of this event:
“Olga Vasilyeva, Minister of Education and Science, is a member of the MGGEU board of trustees. This fact proves that the government pays great attention towards the university activity”.
Other speakers congratulated MGGEU Rector and wished him a success. At the end of the ceremony MGGEU students performed a concert program.
