Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University became the winner of the review competition for the best organization of physical culture and sports work among educational institutions of higher education. The results of the competition were summed up by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Applications of projects aimed at the development of physical culture and sports work from 73 leading universities of Russia were admitted to the competition. This competition has been held since 2011 on the initiative of the Russian Student Sports Union, and since 2020, following a meeting of the State Council on Physical Culture and Sports, with the provision of grants. For the implementation of the competition activities, the university will receive 5 million rubles in the form of subsidies from the federal budget.
