Today, the results of the final stage of the All–Russian language competition with international participation “BEST (Business – Engineering – Society – Technology) projects”, organized by the Department of English of M.T. Kalashnikov (KISTU), became known.
Students of the PO-0221 group of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of MSHEU Artem Tsukanov and Arina Begun shared the 1st place in the section “Language direction”! Students from different universities of Russia took part in the competition.
Our winners managed to surprise the jury with their bright projects. Projects “Studying of the educational potential of computer games in learning a foreign language on the basis of methodological support for learning English based on the game “Valiant hearts: The Great War” Artem Tsukanova and Arina’s “Using Artificial Intelligence on English lessons” Runner on how innovative technologies can be used in teaching English were highly appreciated at the All-Russian level.
“I was the first to perform, and it was naturally exciting. All the participants showed impressive projects, but I was sure only of the victory of Arina’s project. In the end, we both took the first place!” — Artem told about his experience in defending the project.
“I performed fourth. After looking at the works of other participants, hope for victory appeared in me. But still I doubted myself. Most of all, I was sure that Artem would win,” Arina shared her impressions.
It is significant that the 1st (qualifying) stage of the competition was held at MSHEU within the framework of the year of teacher and mentor. Congratulations to our students and wish them new victories! And we also express our gratitude to the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Natalia Vladimirovna Kazanskaya for preparing our winners!
