On April 27, MSHEU students joined the international historical action “Victory Dictation”.
The campaign has been held since 2019 and gives everyone the opportunity to test their knowledge about the Great Patriotic War. More than 22 thousand sites were opened in Russia and 46 other countries this year. Taking into account the opportunity to write dictation online, more than 2 million people took part in it.
The dictation test questions are dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Donbass from fascists, the Battles of Stalingrad and Kursk, the breakthrough of the siege of Leningrad, the Nuremberg trials and other important milestones of the Great Patriotic War. In 45 minutes, participants had to answer 25 questions: 20 on general topics, 5 on regional topics, taking into account the region where the participant lives and writes dictation. The tasks were prepared by experts of the Russian Historical Society (RIO) and the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO).
