The initiative of the scientific director of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University Valery Ryazansky to expand cooperation with the regions in terms of ensuring the human resources potential of the country has received a new development. On June 7, 2023, with the support and participation of the Senator of the Russian Federation from the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Ryabukhin, a video bridge was held that connected MSHEU with applicants and parents from 40 regions of the Ulyanovsk region.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of admission to the university, the details of student life at MSHEU. Elena Sakharchuk, Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work, spoke about the development strategy of the university, about promising areas of professional training in modern conditions. In turn, the head of the department for work with applicants, the executive secretary of the admissions committee Natalia Mikhailova answered the applicants’ questions about the target recruitment.
The applicants and their parents were addressed by the deans of faculties and other employees of the university, who told about the features of the educational programs of the university, about student life and about opportunities for self-realization. The work of the Center for Psychological Assistance and Social Support of MSHEU, which supports students 24/7, received increased attention from potential students.
