On April 14, a round table “Development of effective mechanisms for the prevention of addictive behavior, including the use of surfactants, in the educational sphere and youth environment” was held in the assembly hall of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University. The partner of the round table was the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
Natalia Valeryevna Gazizova, a psychologist at MSHEU, an expert of the Federation of Educational Psychologists of Russia, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Alexander Viktorovich Rakin, Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the administration of the city of Mytishchi, made a report on “Prevention of the use of surfactants and promotion of a healthy lifestyle”: “I would very much like the students who came here today not just to sit and listen to regular reports and lectures, but it is important that at least one of you come out and think: “How do I live? How will I live on?”.
Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of MSHEU Farman Dzhangirovich Bayramov told about criminal liability for the distribution of narcotic substances: “When I started working as an investigator of the prosecutor’s office, there were only 2 articles. Now there are 10 articles related to drug trafficking. This indicates that the state is keeping this problem under control and criminal legislation is being improved.”
Valeria V. Andrianova, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University, highlighted the issue of administrative and legal responsibility: “Countering the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues continues to be an important problem of national security, since there is a high level of illegal drug distribution among the population of the country.”
Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of MSHEU Larisa Yuryevna Belenkova presented the report “Psychological determinants of addictive behavior in the youth environment”. “Modern society is characterized by crisis phenomena, and in many spheres of public life. There is a sharp change in the usual stereotypes, destabilization of the financial situation, and, of course, the situation on the labor market is becoming more complicated. This and many other factors contribute to the loss of a sense of security among a significant part of the population of our country,” Larisa Yurievna noted.
Maryam Aliyeva, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University, compiled a psychological mudboard “Addiction as a destructive method of dealing with stress.”
The event was attended by students of all faculties of MSHEU.
