On September 12-14, 2018 Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics participated in the VIII International Specialized Exhibition “InvaExpo. Society for All “, held at VDNKh.
The opening ceremony was heralded by the welcoming speech from Andrey Besshtanko, the Moscow Department of Labour and Social Protection of Population Deputy Director. Among the attendees there were Mikhail Terentiev, Labour, Welfare and Veteran affairs Committee Vice Chairman of State Duma of Russian Federal Assembly, Pavel Rozhkov, the Executive Committee Chairman, first Vice-President, Russian Paralympic Committee chief of staff and Irina Faevskaya Minister of the Moscow region social development.
The exhibition is a national platform for promoting domestic rehabilitation industry and accessible environment.
The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the domestic and foreign innovation in the sphere of rehabilitation industry in terms of rehabilitation equipment production and creating accessible environment; another purpose is to arrange interaction and effective cooperation of state customers with manufacturers and suppliers of products and services for disabled people.
During the exhibition the MGGEU teaching staff presented teaching aids and operational guidelines for students with special needs at the “Adaptive physical education” classes.
The University exhibition stall also promoted MGGEU partners dealing with inclusive volunteer activities for students with limited health capacities creativity building as well as limb prosthetics for the disabled. In particular, OTTO BOCK group of companies presented their early rehabilitation of disabled people project.
The charity fund “I Love Life” presented the results of their activity in 2017 aimed at supporting children in hardship.
