On May 25, MGIU hosted the Day of the Russian Language, dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the birth of the great poet F. I. Tyutchev.
Students of various fields of study, including those studying Russian as a foreign language, took part in the literary readings. The moderator was Natalia Yurievna Ermolaeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Media Communications.
Students made reports on the fate and work of Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev. The event featured poems by A. S. Pushkin, M. Y. Lermontov, F. I. Tyutchev, S. A. Yesenin.
