The Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University hosted a round table “Issues of information protection during the Great Patriotic War”, dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.
The participants of the round table were students of the faculty, Dean, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Alexey Nikolaevich Rudnev and teachers of the Department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
Students presented thematic reports, discussed interesting facts from the history of information security. Topics such as the fight against disinformation during the war, cryptography and encryption, domestic and foreign encryption machines, the importance of information warfare in the forties were raised.
After the official part, the students continued the discussion over tea. All participants of the round table expressed the wish that such events, timed to other important dates and holidays, be held in the future.
