On April 25, 2018 MGGEU Economics Faculty welcomed “Perspectives of International Communication for Russia in Social, Economic and Humanitarian Spheres” conference.
The conference gathered representatives of France, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Ecuador and the Republic of Belarus. The plenary session started with, MGGEU Rector Vagif Bayramov’s welcoming speech which was joined by Jorge Patricio Palacios, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador in Russian Federation, Vugar Imamaliev, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Azerbaijani Republic in Russia, Alexis Garapin, Dean of Economics Department of Grenoble Alps University, Farouk Ulgen, Deputy Dean for International Affairs, Director of the Remote Department of Grenoble Alps University, Natasha Colle, Head of the International Department of Grenoble Alps University, Olga Labeyko, the Senior Lecturer of Department of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of Baranovichi State University and Olga Alexandrova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Deputy Director of The Russian Academy of Sciences, ISESP RAS.
During the speeches, it was mentioned that the number of the conference participants demonstrates the important role of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics as one of the leading institutes of inclusive education on the international scale.
A session of video conferencing with representatives of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics was organized as part of the plenary meeting. The participants discussed current issues concerning cooperation between Russia and a number of foreign countries in the field of education.
The conference consisted of two subpanels:
subpanel 1 – “Socio-economic and judiciary aspects of cooperation between Russia and foreign countries”;
subpanel 2 – “Implementation of international education programs: students’ perspective”.
In conclusion, the conference participants stressed the importance of further partnership relations and creating new projects in the field of international education. One of such projects relates to obtaining double degrees under the coordination of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics.
